Pavel Bannikov

Pavel Bannikov, Editor, Fact-Checker, Trainer, OSINT Specialist. From 2017 to 2022, he headed the Kazakhstan resource factcheck.kz, and was involved in launching fact-checking editorial teams in Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. He also led the fact-checking department of the anti-war project «Service of Support» and participated in several international journalistic investigations and projects. He is the compiler and co-author of a textbook on media literacy for secondary schools in Kazakhstan and teaches a media literacy course at the Moscow School of Social and Economic Sciences. He is currently serving as an editor for the fact-checking project «Provereno»
