The quality of education in Kazakhstan's schools is extremely poor, and children are not motivated to learn, experts say. Kazakh schools are ranked among the "underperformers" globally, alongside African countries. There is neither quality textbooks nor interesting content to engage students. The difference between urban and rural schools, and between Russian-language and Kazakh-language schools, is enormous. In some schools, the educational gap is as much as three grades! In some villages, the internet is almost non-existent.

What is needed to make the learning process more engaging? We ask the students. Children are not receiving equal education everywhere, what is the reason for this? According to experts, children do not know how to apply the knowledge they acquire. Why?
