Every year, Kazakhstan records hundreds of cases of sexual violence against children. Yet, support for victims often remains fragmented — the child is forced to repeat their traumatic story multiple times, recount their traumatic experience over and over again. This only deepens the trauma. A potential solution is the Barnahus model, successfully used in Europe. How can Kazakhstan adopt this model and build a system where the safety and dignity of the child come first?
