Kalima Tazhikul

Tazhikul Kalima - journalist, media trainer.

She lectures on various topics, including «Working with Open Data», «Media Ethics», «Media Literacy», «Fact-Checking and Critical Thinking», «Propaganda and Manipulation in Media» and «Writing Skills in Finance».

In March-October 2019, she participated in the Open Budget Fellowship 2019 training program as a budget expert.

In September-November 2019, she completed the «Business English Course» at the AIFC's Bureau of Continuous Professional Education, specializing as a financial expert.

From March to May 2021, she attended the Media Workshop Internews and worked as a media critic.

In May-July 2022, she completed the Online Factcheck Academy course at the International Center for Journalism MediaNet, becoming a fact-checker and fact-checking trainer.

From April 14 to 16, 2023, she participated in the International Seminar TechCamp Kazakhstan organized by the U.S. Department of State in Kazakhstan, the Bureau of Education and Culture of the U.S. Department of State, and the local partner, the International Center for Journalism MediaNet.
