Often, the story of betting is not a pursuit of easy money, but a true addiction. Online platforms, cashback offers, and bonuses are drawing more and more people in, especially among the youth. Gambling addiction (ludomania) is a behavioural disorder, on par with alcoholism and drug addiction. This article explores the consequences of gambling addiction and the efforts being made to combat it in Kazakhstan.
