This article addresses a pressing issue — the gap between the quality and level of service on Kazakhstan’s toll roads and the standards set for them. This is confirmed by the large number of complaints from drivers, which emerge every time the media or social networks publish materials about the condition of toll roads. Car users complain about poor road surface quality, untimely snow removal, lack of repairs, and the fact that despite rising toll rates, the quality of the roads remains the same. In addition, toll highways often experience traffic accidents and temporary closures.
