One of the most pressing issues in Kazakhstan is the shortage of doctors. For example, in the Akmola Region alone, there is currently a shortfall of 190 physicians. Telemedicine may be the only viable solution to this problem. In many countries around the world, telemedicine is already well developed. There are documented cases where doctors have performed surgeries remotely and successfully treated patients using telemedicine technologies. This special report takes a closer look at the effectiveness and advantages of telemedicine.
