Over the past four years, the number of children diagnosed with autism in Kazakhstan has tripled. Today, around 13,000 such children are officially registered. This is not a frightening statistic, but rather a reason to face reality. Many parents believe that a child’s delayed speech is simply a “phase.” However, early recognition of autism symptoms and timely consultation with a specialist are crucial steps toward securing the child’s future.
